Optical device manufacturer Oplink plan expansion

Recently, optical communication device and module supplier Oplink company Bay Development from South company located in North San Jose bought a 86000 square foot building R & D /flex-space. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed, but sources said the building up price of $70 per square foot or so. Oplink is expected to occupy the entire building.

Oplink did not disclose their use plan, but the company is in a growth trend, and once in a SEC document said the company plans to increase the number of employees. Oplink quarter ended September 30, 2012 sales revenue of $44900000, compared to the same period last year ‘s $43400000 increase.

Oplink in China Zhuhai and Shanghai has a production factory. In the United States Fremont headquarters is mainly responsible for the design, application and customer service. At the same time, Oplink in China Zhuhai and Wuhan, and Taiwan Hsinchu Science Park has research and development facilities.

Oplink recently set up a mobile phone interactive service departments, and for families and enterprises launched a security system.
